Artist Statement - Mary Ann Low [1 Image] Since I was a little girl I’ve dreamed of being an artist, but never had the courage to follow that dream. I was able to leave the very logical world of computer professionals to follow my artist dream a few years ago. After many diverse classes in watercolor, wheel throwing and clay sculpture I have learned the basic and some advanced skills needed to do this thing called art. Turning points for me have been membership in local clay and watercolor groups and open studio instruction with many locally well known artists. The sharing artists and their contagious spirit has fed energy into my dreams. I hope that my art can make you think and smile or remind you of something that made you who you are. |
